For a year across 2010 – 2011 I was blessed to work with the marvellous people at Mozilla Foundation and P2PU (Peer 2 Peer University) helping develop the pilot project School of Webcraft – a self-organised free web development school. I was responsible for communicating the project online and off, building community around the project and supporting both volunteer course coordinators and students in their learning on P2PU.
While the School of Webcraft no longer exists as an on-going project it supported a lot of discussions about tools for web learning and how online learning can be recognised and facilitated. These discussions led to the development of tools such as Open Badges, Mozilla Webmaker and P2PU Learning Circles.
