I help people develop considerate and gentle ways of dealing with social, environmental and economic changes. I work with individuals and groups to discuss, explore and work towards safe and abundant futures for their households, organisations and communities. My work is informed by permaculture, futures thinking, community-driven action and open technologies and processes.
I hold an MSc in Sustainability and Adaptation from the Centre for Alternative Technology, Wales in partnership with the University of East London. I have completed two Permaculture Design Certificates, studied Permaculture Teaching Matters with Rosemary Morrow and hold academic qualifications in adult education and computer and information science.
My earlier work was in tertiary and informal education, web and games development and educational software. I also coach non-native English speakers in academic and general communication especially around sustainability issues.
In order to better support my clients I am currently studying a masters of counselling so that I can offer therapy alongside coaching and other services.

The Personal
My daughter was born in March 2020 just as the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns spread across the world. Her arrival at this strange time strengthened my commitment to support positive futures not just for her, but for the world in which she will live.
Becoming a parent emphasised me our shared struggle of taking positive world-changing action amongst the never-ending needs of family, work and home. I remind myself and my clients that our everyday decisions are where we have ongoing power for positive impacts that also create the world we want.
I am a keen knitter and fermenter, improvising vocalist, gardener, cook, sailor, lifelong learner and creator of various things.
